Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Reveals Most-Played July 2025 Cards

The rise of Artifact Lancea inYu-Gi-Oh Master Duelcomes as the card’s significant spike is owed to one of the game’s newest decks. The addition of Maliss quickly saw the versatile and resilient Link Monster-focused deck take overMaster Duel’s competitive meta, similar to its status in the physical TCG. Artifact Lancea serves as one of the most effective counters to the deck, cutting off the ability to banish cards that makes up the core of the Maliss deck’s gameplay. Artifact Lancea’s rise likely also contributed to the increased numbers for “Crossout Designator,” which can negate Lancea’s effects.

The dominance of Maliss inYu-Gi-Oh Master Duelwill soon be joined by another powerful strategy on the way. Konami is expected to introduce the “Ryzeal” strategy to the game within the coming months, with theXyz Monster-focused deckbattling for supremacy with Maliss in the physical TCG. The powerful “Mitsurugi” Ritual theme will also likely see its debut soon, with the deck coming out not long after Maliss and Ryzeal.Master Duellooks set for a major shake-up with plenty of powerful decks coming soon.
