WWE 2K25surprised fans with the addition ofSmackDownstar Aleister Black to the roster, just in time for the game’s Switch 2 launch. First released in March 2025,WWE 2K25features current superstars and well-known legends, especially those who are part of The Bloodline, in the franchise’s biggest roster to date.
WWE 2K25has a stacked lineup of DLCplanned out for this year, which include wrestlers like Jordynne Grace and Mark Henry and special guests like NBA player Tyrese Haliburton and streamer KSI. From time to time, the gameadds more wrestlers who have made waves in WWE programming lately with their performance and charisma inside and outside the ring.
One surprise drop is Aleister Black as part of theWrestleMania 41pack, which will be available starting July 23, the same date asWWE 2K25Switch 2 release. Black returned to WWE back in April after his stint at AEW, receiving loud cheers from fans after attacking The Miz onSmackDown. In a two-minute clip uploaded on Twitter,WWE 2K25showcased Black’s detailed model and haunting entrance sequence.

Aside from Black, theWrestleMania 41pack will also include alternate costumes for Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. According toWWE 2K25’s website, the expansion will also include theWrestleMania 41Arena, featuring the iconic Las Vegas-themed decorations and structures from theannual WWE PPV.
ManyWWE 2K25fansexpressed their excitement about the upcoming additions to the game, especially the chance to play as Black. The last time Black was featured in the franchise was inWWE 2K20, and he was suddenly released from WWE in 2021 as well, so many fans missed seeing him as a playable wrestler.
Aleister Black is also a playable characterinAEW Fight Foreverunder the name Malakai Black.
WithWWE 2K25now on the Switch 2, many fans will have the opportunity to enjoy the game on the handheld device and utilize crossplay to enjoy matches with friends. Based on the officialtrailer, the Switch 2 version of the game seems to have graphics that are comparable to those of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox versions.
