Wuthering Waves Officially Reveals Phrolova for Version 2.5
Despite being introduced as a main antagonist, Phrolova has been a fan-favorite character sinceWuthering Waves' early days. Like Scar, she is an Overseer of the Fractsidus, an organization that aims to provoke the next Lament. Players first encountered Phrolova in Huanglong, where she caused a Tacet Discord outbreak on her own. She later reappears in Rinascita and conspires with Cristoforo, but Rover manages to defeat her summon, Hecate. However, her mission in this nation isn’t over, and a recentWuthering Wavesstory trailer suggested that players will learn more about her troubled past in later patches. Fans can expect Kuro Games to share more details about her kit in the coming weeks. Whether Phrolova can become one of thestrongest characters inWuthering Wavesremains to be seen.
While manyWuthering Wavesfans reacted positively to Phrolova’s drip marketing, some pointed out how no other new unit was unveiled for Version 2.5. This would mean that Phrolova won’t debut alongside any other 5-Star or 4-Star. While fans wait for Phrolova, they can still pull for Cartethyia onWuthering Waves' current bannersbefore she leaves on July 3.
