World of WarcraftPatch 11.2 introduces a new Renown faction called the K’aresh Trust, through which fans can unlock improvements to open-world activities, cosmetics, and gear upgrade currencies. Like the other major Renown factions inWorld of Warcraft: The War Withinbefore it, players will be able to start earning reputation with this group once Patch 11.2 goes live.

Recently,World of Warcraftpulled back the curtain on Patch 11.2, Ghosts of K’aresh. This content update takes fans to the fragmented homeworld of the Ethereals and Brokers as they hunt down the Shadowguard, who stole the Dark Heart in hopes of using it to resurrect Dimensius, the All-Devouring, a powerful Void Lord.

World of Warcraft The War Within

A newWorld of Warcraftzone and update wouldn’t be complete without a Renown faction. The K’aresh Trust is a group of Ethereals and Brokers who have banded together in hopes of preserving some small portion of their ravaged world from theVoid Lord and his servants in theWoWupdate. Though the K’aresh Trust wasn’t directly introduced duringWorld of Warcraft’s announcement blog for the update, it is available via the Patch 11.2 Public Test Realm, meaning players now know the rewards available at every tier.

Fans can earn tons of rewards throughout the rewards track, including both cosmetic items and upgradable gear. Expansion currencies, improvements to K’aresh overworld activities, and Profession knowledge and crafting materials can also be earned at various tiers. Near the end of the 20-tier Renown track, fans can even earn the Terror of the Wastes flying mount and the “of the Twilight Star” title.

The exact methods by which reputation will be earned with the K’aresh Trust are not completely known, but players can get a good idea fromprevious Renown factions inWorld of Warcraft: The War Within. Defeating rares, completing both world and side quests, and partaking in various activities in K’aresh, such as Phase Diving or Warrants, will all likely reward K’aresh Trust reputation, as will finishing campaign chapters and weekly quests.

In addition to the K’aresh Trust, fans will also be able to progress through theManaforge Vandals raid Renown track in theWoWupdateas well. Rather than through activities in the open world, players earn reputation with this special Renown faction by fighting enemies in the new Manaforge Omega raid, earning cosmetics, quality-of-life improvements, and buffs while in the instance by doing so. Regardless, unless Blizzard surprises fans with another mini-Renown track in Patch 11.2.5 or 11.2.7 as it did with the Flame’s Radiance in 11.1.5, these will likely be the last two factions of its kind until Midnight.
