World of Warcrafthas revealed more details about how the first month ofMists of Pandaria Classicwill go, confirming that the Mogu’shan Vaults raid will arrive at the end of July. Starting July 1,World of Warcraft Classicplayers will be able to test out the revamped talent system and start playing as the Monk class.
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classicwill raise the level cap from 85 to 90, and increase the number of available classes to 11 with the arrival of the Monk. As masters of martial arts, the Monk can fulfill the roles of Tank, Healer, or Melee DPS in group content. Although their main armor type is leather,the Monk’s transmogrification armor setsdraw inspiration from Eastern cultures in the real world. Along with the Monk,World of Warcraft Classic’s first neutral race, the Pandaren, will be available for Alliance and Horde players to choose from. Completing the Pandaren starting experience will reward retailWoWplayers with Shaohao’s Sage Serpent mount to use as a Skyriding mount.
However, the launch ofWorld of Warcraft Classic’s next expansion will stretch beyond the first few weeks of July.According to Blizzard, theMists of Pandaria Classicpre-patch will go live on July 1. The pre-patch also includes the pet battle system and the Theramore’s Fall scenario. Less than three weeks later, on July 21, players can set sail for the continent of Pandaria and begin their journeys through zones like the Jade Forest and the Valley of the Four Winds. However,WoWplayers will have just 10 days to reach level 90 before the expansion’s first raid, the Mogu’shan Vaults, opens its doors on Thursday, July 31, at 6:00 PM Eastern. A place fraught withsecrets from the fallen Mogu Empire, the Mogu’shan Vaults is a six-boss raid that groups of 10 or 25 players can challenge on Normal and Heroic difficulties.
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic Launch Schedule
Two weeks after the Mogu’shan Vaults are opened, the Celestial Dungeons feature will arrive in the middle of August. Asa substitute for the Raid Finder option that will not be inMists of Pandaria Classic, Celestial Dungeons will serve as a challenge equal to Mythic+ Dungeons in The War Within. Other raids, such as Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring, will arrive at later dates.
