In addition to the main story, there are many strange and peculiar characters that EVE can interact with inStellar Blade. One of the most unusual is Beatrice, an NPC found grieving in Xion. Beatrice holds the quest “I Won’t Forget You” that can only be completed after gaining access to the Great Desert, and it becomes available after defeating Tachy theAlpha Naytibain Matrix 11 as part of the main story inStellar Blade. The seemingly grieving woman can be found near the footbridge in Xion, and she’ll ask EVE to retrieve her murdered lover’s memory stick from the Desert Oasis.
How To Gain Access To The Great Desert In Stellar Blade
After defeating Tachy in Matrix 11,EVEwill gain access to more side quests in Xion and will need to progress into the Great Desert to progress the main story. The “Won’t Forget You” quest can only be completed in the Great Desert, but EVE will need to trigger the next part of the story by speaking to Adam at the Tetrapod in Xion. Once the cutscene has finished, he will fly EVE out to the Great Desert.
Where To Find The Desert Oasis
When EVE lands in the Great Desert, you’re able to make your way directly to the Great Desert’s Oasis, located in the center. It’s a water-filled area surrounded by palm trees andClyde’s Fishing Hut. Mark the area on your map and follow it there, but watch out for the Lurkers hiding underground. You’ll feel the controller vibrate as they get close.
If this is your first visit to the Desert Oasis, you should also speak to Clyde in his shop to get EVE’s first fishing rod.
When you arrive at the Great Desert Oasis, you’ll need to jump into the water from the west side and then dive down. Inspect the body to retrieve the man’s memory chip for Beatrice. EVE will observe that a monster attack was not the cause of death; he actually died from a knife wound in the back. It seems he was murdered by a human.
Return To Beatrice
At the prompt, select “Return to the client now?” and EVE will teleport back to Beatrice’s location to complete the quest. However, after informing Beatrice of potential foul play, she becomes unhinged and laughs maniacally. Unfortunately, it looks like EVE helped cover up Beatrice’s murder by handing over the memory stick. As a reward for completing the quest, you’llreceive 500 Gold, 10 Strange Bolts, and 5 Wriggling Insects.
