Grounded 2’s map is divided into different biomes, each hiding secrets of its own for only the keen-eyed players to uncover. The Ice Cream Cart is the frozen region in the game, which is extremely difficult to explore unlessyou have chill reduction gear. Players who can enter the region will find either the Frostbitten Key or the Chest, depending on where they enter the area from. Here’s a guide to help you locate both items and get the rewards from the chest.
Where to Find the Frostbitten Key in Grounded 2
To find the Frostbitten Key, players will need tohead over to the Ice Cream Cart region, southeast of the Snackbar Front inGrounded 2. But before you do that, make sure your character meets the following requirements.
After reaching the area, head through the starting area until you come across a cone leading into the Ice Cream Cart. Instead of entering through the cone, climb around on top of it from the side and enter the cart.
Head right and keep going through the cone pillars until you see a path going around the cone on the right. Go around the path to the upper section of the area, and you’ll need to fight a few scorpions here. After eliminating the scorpions, head to thebody at the back and grab the Frostbitten Keyfrom it.
Frostbitten Chest Location in Grounded 2
Once you have the key, return to the area near the entrance and keep heading forward over the ledges. You’ll spot a metal bar bridging the gap between the mound of ice cream and a small opening. Go around the ice cream packs andhead uphill to walk over the metal bar.
As you reach inside a room with a fan, there will be a scorpion here that you can either fight or sneakily approach the fan. There’s a gear underneath the fan that’s covered in ice. You’ll need to break away the ice from the gears to rotate the fan slightly.
Doing this will rotate the fan blades, allowing you to jump into a hidden path underneath. After getting the Raw Science orb and a Mega Milk Molar, keep following the icy pathway until you arrive in an open area with ice-sickles dual blades in the middle. Don’t pick them up yet, and instead go underneath the Banana peels, and you’ll spot a sparkle on the ground surface.
Dig the area with the sparkle with your Omni-Shovel to unearth the Frostbitten Chest. Use the key toget two Mint Globsfrom the chest, which is a key ingredient to make another pair of unique ice-sickles dual blades inGrounded 2.
