How to Farm Strike of Stormhorn in Diablo 4
Strike of Stormhorn can drop fromany source of randomized Unique gear drops on Torment difficulty and above. Helltide chests and Kurast Undercity runs can potentially yield this item, but if you want the highest possible drop rate for Strike of Stormhorn, you’ll need tofight the Beast in the Icein the Fractured Peaks.
The Beast in the Ice is a Lair Boss found in the Glacial Fissure lair, which you can findjust south of Kyovashad. You can head straight there and fight the boss as many times as you want once you reach Torment 1, but in order to get any real loot to drop from it,you’ll need 12 Distilled Fear to open the Hoard chestthat appears once the boss is down.
Distilled Fear Farm
The best way toget Distilled FearinDiablo 4is to run Nightmare Dungeons. Opening the final reward chest and any chest from side events inside Nightmare Dungeons has a fairly decent chance of yielding some bottles of Distilled Fear.
Alternatively, you may finish some Kurast Undercity runs using Tributes of Titans. These Tributes are fairly rare, however, so this might not exactly be the most reliable way to get Distilled Fear.
Players can also try visiting Fayira in The Den in Kurast. She may have some boss material caches for sale, and if she doesn’t you’re able to always refresh her store.
How Good is Strike of Stormhorn?
Strike of Stormhorn supercharges Ball Lightning bybonus ranks and projectile speed, and any percentage chance you have to cast Ball Lightning twice instead becomesa chance to cast Super Ball Lightning.
That’s not all, though. Ball Lightning will explode on contact with an enemy, dealing area damage and Stunning anything it hits if the ball reaches max range. Super Ball Lightning projectiles are larger and deal more damage, and they have a higher Lucky Hit Chance and longer Stun duration.
