The Vintage Grinder is an easy race inWheel World’s Vineyards region, and, as is the case with the vast majority of the races in the game, there are four objectives associated with it. One of those objectives is to collect K.A.T. and win, and some players may find it a bit tricky to complete. This guide is written with those players in mind, and it will help them grab the “K,” “A,” and “T” inWheel World’s Vintage Grinder race.
This guide’s primary focus is detailing how to come into contact with the three letters in the Vintage Grinder. That said, players must put some effort toward winning the race after collecting K.A.T., as doing so is a requirement for completing the objective. If a player is struggling to secure first place, it is recommended that they spend some time exploringWheel World’s open worldand return to the race when they have better parts.
Wheel World: Collect The Vintage Grinder K.A.T.
K
Wheel Worldplayersshould begin the Vintage Grinder race by passing through the first two checkpoints. There is adirt rampjust past the second checkpoint, and the “K” is above it.
Players cannot collect the “K” simply by pedaling up the ramp, though, as the letter is a bit too high. Indeed, players will need to use abunny hopto get some additional height, and here is how that is done:
This is the only time that a player really needs to use a bunny hop inWheel World. The maneuver is useful for extending airtime, though, and players may want to start incorporating it into their racing strategies.
A
The ‘A’ is hidden amidst therows of small treesnear the middle of a lap. The preceding images highlight this location, and players should look carefully at the bottom-right corner of the second image, which shows the letter’s precise position on the track.
T
On thesecond lapof the race, players shouldignore the rampthat was used to reach the “K” and stick to the track. Indeed, the “T” is on the section of the track that is skipped by using the ramp, and its location is shown in the preceding images.
While players may lose some seconds by staying on the track, it is absolutely possible to collect K.A.T. and beat Tom’s time in a single race.
