For those who decide to skip over side content,Donkey Kong Bananzacan be a relatively short affair, withthe main story clocking in at around twelve hours or so. However, once all of the side content is taken into account, players can expect to sink at least thirty hours into the game, and that’s before we get onto the post-credit content.

Completing all of the post-game content inDonkey Kong Bananzacan take an additional ten hours, more so if players opted to skip over a lot of the Banandium Gems on their way to rolling credits. This guide will explain what players should do after finishing the main story and the rewards they can expect to get in the post-game.

Help Yourself to Some Free Outfits

After completing the game, players will be rewarded with DK’s Mining Helmet andPauline’s Gold-Mining Gear, the latter of which will double the amount of Gold they get from pickups. They’ll also have a chance to unlock Pauline’s Diva Dress and the Invisibility Tie for DK, although doing so will require a bit more work (we’ll get to that shortly).

Finish Collecting All of the Bananas and Fossils

Even the most thorough of players will likely have missed a few fossils and bananas on their way down to the planet’s core, so now’s a great time to track them down. They’ll be able to find 33 additional Banandium Gems by visiting the Ingot Isle Cave-In area, which becomes available in the post-game ofDonkeyKong Bananza.

Repair the Ingot Isle

New bananas aren’t the only thing that players can find by returning to the Ingot Isle. If they speak with Grumpy Kong, they’ll be able to regenerate the area, although doing so will require a fair amount of gold. Giving Grumpy 5,000 Gold will unlock Battle Rush, and paying him an extra 10,000 will unlock Boss Rush. The last Grumpy Kong unlock is the Baboomtown Restoration Project, which will cost players 120,000 and reward them with a gold DK statue. After completing all three projects, they can speak with Poppy Kong to getthe aforementioned Invisibility Tie for DK.

Go Back Down to the Groove Layer

Returning to the Groove Layer will reveal a new post-game quest that sees players repair the Disco Hall. The Groove Layer is now also home to a Fossil Museum, where players can examine all of the different types of fossils that they’ve found during their adventure. Players should also keep an eye out for Glamtone, a Fractone who appears randomly throughoutthe game’s 17 layersand rewards players with Banandium Gems if they’re wearing a certain outfit.

Complete the 6 Elder Rehearsals

The mainDK Bananzapost-game content comes in the form of Elder Rehearsals, where players can earn additional Banandium Gems, unlock Golden skills for their transformations, and spawn indestructible replica records that can be used to break through any terrain type. Elder Rehearsals can only be attempted once players have collected the required amount of Banandium Gems, with the final one unlocked after players have completed the other five, which is also when they’llget the Diva Dress for Pauline. Finishing all six rehearsals and then returning to the surface will unlockDK Bananza’s secret ending.
