The first, onJune 24th, 2025, marks the start of a 48-hour early-access period for players who purchased the Digital Deluxe or Collector’s Edition. When Can I Play the Death Stranding 2 Standard Release in the US?
The Early Access period forDeath Stranding 2: On the Beachis 48 hours, so players in the US who purchased the standard version of the game will presumably gain access exactly 48 hours after Early Access begins. This will fall onDS2’s official release date of June 26th, 2025. This means the following times:
When Can I Play Death Stranding 2 Internationally?
PlayStation uses what is known as a “rolling midnight release” schedule. This means thatDS2should be available at 12:00AM in the easternmost areas of each region. For example, in the US, the game will be released at midnight in New York City, at 11:00 PM in Chicago, and 9:00PM in Los Angeles.
While Sony has yet to release an official release time schedule for the globe, you can figure out your release time by looking at the easternmost timezone in your region, then looking at the relative time in your region. UsingDeath Stranding 2’s Australian settingas an example, if the game is released at midnight in Brisbane, it’ll be released at 10:00PM in Perth.
