PEAKis not an easy game to “beat.” Even if you have a team of four trekkers fighting for their lives to reach the tippy-top of the world, there’s going to be a lot of environmental hazards that’ll ruin your day, such as poisonous mushrooms, slippery surfaces, snow, and magma. And if you’re playing solo, like I am, it’s even harder to do.
Once you embark on your disastrous flight from the airport, you’ll be able to see that thereward for beating the main difficulty is something called a ‘Tadpole Scout.’ And you won’t be able to get this item until you clear all the biomes in a single playthrough. Some players might wonder if 1) the reward is worth the hike, and 2) what even is the Tadpole Scout item used for? ThisPEAKguide will answer your queries.

What is the Tadpole Scout Reward in PEAK?
Surprise! It’s a Sash!
Once you clearPEAK’sdefault difficulty, you will finally unlock the Tadpole Scout sashas a reward. This basically actsas a promotion for your climber, and you will get to unlock Ascent 1, a new difficulty mode forPEAK, making the game even harder (wild, right?).
Interacting with the airport ticket kiosk after completing the game will now show youAscent 1, which makes you take even more fall damage, causing your trek to the peak a little more miserable.

Once you clearPEAKon Ascent 1, you’ll unlock theRabbit Scoutsash/promotion, allowing you to challenge an even harder version ofPEAK.
