How Does the Tree of Whispers Work in Diablo 4?
To earn these bonus caches on top of the cache you choose, you will need to interact with the Tree of Whispers. This requires that you complete the campaign or use the in-menu toggle to skip the campaign during character creation; once the story is complete, you will be able to accessthe Tree of Whispers. Then, you need to collect Grim Favors to give to the Tree in exchange for caches.
Grim Favorsare earned by completing Whispers, which are like bounties for the Tree of Whispers. They appear on the map as pink, pale pink, and red borders around icons; the darker the color red, the more Grim Favors are given for completing that bounty.Pale pink gives one Grim Favor, Pink gives three, and red-bordered icons give five. Once you have ten, you can bring them back to the Tree of Whispers or to a Raven of the Tree. This will give you the option to choose between three different caches.
