This guide explains what Everdark Sovereigns are inNightreign, what makes these souped-up Nightlords different, and details the Evernight Sovereign rotation schedule.
Nightreign Everdark Sovereign Bosses, Explained
What Are Everdark Sovereigns In Nightreign?
InElden Ring Nightreign, Everdark Sovereign bosses are essentially more difficult versions of the eight Nightlords in the game that are meant to test experienced, expertNightreignplayers. You must defeat the normal version of a Nightlord to access the Everdark Sovereign version during its week.
If available, the current Everdark Sovereign boss will appear as a ninth expedition at the bottom of the expedition list. The current Everdark Sovereign boss will be highlighted in purple and listed separately from its normal difficulty counterpart.
What Makes Evernight Sovereign Bosses Harder?
When fighting the Everdark Sovereign version of aNightreignboss, it will begin the fight in its second phase (if it has a second phase) and gain a slew of new abilities and attacks – and even a third or fourth phase – that will test the most hardenedNightreignveterans.
In the first week, for example,Adel, Baron of Night was the Everdark Sovereign. The boss begins the fight in its second, considerably more powerful phase, is more resistant to Poison weakness effects, and gains a third phase that tightens the navigable space in the arena while dealing arena-wide AoE lightning damage.
Though the expedition itself does not change, the boss fight at the end of Day 3 is significantly more difficult, so be sure to carefully plan out your route through Limveld to gain the most XP, get the best items, and be as prepared as you can be for these souped-up Nightlords.
Everdark Sovereign Rewards In Nightreign
If you are able to defeat an Everdark Sovereign, you will receive a new currency called Sovereign Sigils. These Sigils can be used at a new vendor that unlocks after you defeat an Everdark Sovereign.
Look for the Collector Signboard just around the corner of Roundtable Hold’s exterior from the Shore to find a vendor that will sell unique Relics, allow you to create Shifting Earth events, unlock Skins with this new currency, and even reset the appearance of Roundtable Hold to its pre-Night Aspect look.
