Some series definitely got huge announcements for themselves,such as Frierenor Chainsaw Man, but others, not so much. Jujutsu Kaisen fans were especially left very disappointed.
Many fans were expecting a trailer drop forJujutsu KaisenSeason 3, but that never happened. Fans didn’t even get a new Key Visual. Instead, Jujutsu Kaisen fans got hit with some very disappointing news.
The Event Confirms Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Will Not Be Coming In 2025
The Exact Release Date Is Yet To Be Confirmed
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is the only thing that fans are looking forward to, especially since the manga has already wrapped up. However, from the looks of it, this new season won’t be coming out anytime soon.
While fans didn’t knock much before today, now, things are a lot clearer after the ominous quiet at Anime Expo. During today’s event, it was mentionedthat Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is currently in production, which is great news, but it also confirms thatJujutsu KaisenSeason 3 won’t come out this year.
Instead,Jujutsu KaisenSeason 3 will likely come out in 2026, either in spring or summer, with the latter being likelier. Based on Anime Expo, the voice actors are still recording lines, and the production isn’t done. This means the series isn’t ready to drop a trailer and will take a few more months. By the time of Jump Festa 2026, they’ll have a lot more content to show, so fans can expect a trailer then, which would only mean a 2026 release date forJJKSeason 3. This is quite a long wait for the third season. After all, Season 2 came out back in 2023, so this would make it a three-year wait.
