Each level ofTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4has amyriad of collectibles and challengesfor players. In the first of the 3 remakes, players need only to pass through glowing icons to collect them. This comes in the form of new decks, money, the word SKATE, and more.
Challenges, on the other hand, can be trickier. Players will need to figure out what it is they need to do and then still show they have the skills to pull it off. Some of these challenges can be frustrating, especially when players are unsure if what they are doing is right or not. TheFoundry is a wonderfully crafted leveland a great first experience for players starting out. At the start of the level, head straight. You will go down a ramp and come to a halfpipe. Jump over this halfpipe and perform an Indy while doing so. This is a great starting challenge for players, as it is a simple act with a simple trick. The Indy is a simple trick to execute and won’t require any demandingearly point investmentsto pull off.

How to Collect S-K-A-T-E for Foundry in THPS 3+4
Thanks to ablend of innovation and tradition, veteran players will get a real kick out of revisiting this level and getting all of its collectibles. At the start of the level, go down the ramp directly ahead of you and turn left. Use the ramp to get the S icon. Turn around and head back to the same ramp you went down. To the right of it will be another ramp with the K icon. You can get this by using the ramp or by grinding along its edge.
Once you land, make a wide turn left, or head to the right wall of this level and turn left before hitting it. Traveling away from the starting point will show a grindable surface with the A icon on it. After getting it, keep to the right to see the T. Grind this rail to get the T and then jump to the right of it. Follow the rail with it on your left side. You will find the E icon on a ramp by following this route.
How to Grind the Molten Bucket for Foundry in THPS 3+4
Head to the opposite side of the map from where you start. Turn around, and you will see a large metal bucket pouring out molten metal. Players can grind either side of this bucket. They can do so by hitting the ramp in front of them or ramping up to the bucket from behind.
Another option would be to use the same route to getting the Secret Tape for this level and then jump down to grind this spot.
How to Soak the Foreman for Foundry in THPS 3+4
At the start of the level, the Foreman can be found to the right of the Molten Bucket. Take the ramp next to the right wall. Then ride up the following ramp and take the first left. Grind along the outer rail, and you will grind over some controls that will cause a metal hook to knock the foreman into the water. There are timesthe soundtrack aligns beautifullywith challenges like this one.
How to Un-Jam 5 Valves for Foundry in THPS 3+4
At the start of the level, head to the right wall and take the ramp down. Players will find 3 red valves along this wall. After the third valve is hit, follow the yellow rail with it on your left side. This will lead you to the 4th valve. The final valve can be found on this same wall, to the right of the ramp, that will take you back to the starting location.
This will trigger a short cutscene of a door opening to Generator 1 Core. This is the room where players will find the Logo icon for this level.
How to Get the Logo for Foundry in THPS 3+4
After un-jamming the 5 valves, head back up to the starting location and through the doors leading to Generator 1 Core. Keep to the left side as you enter this area and travel up a winding ramp to the top of this room. Jump while in the middle of this winding ramp when it ends to collect the logo icon. This has been made easierthanks to the extended timer.
How to Get the Hidden Deck for Foundry in THPS 3+4
At the start of the level, go to the left wall. Before going down the ramp, jump up and grind the yellow rail. Jump from this rail before reaching the end to land on a metal pathway they can grind on to reach the Hidden Deck along this pathway.
How to Get the Secret Tape for Foundry in THPS 3+4
Do the same approach as the Hidden Deck, but using the right wall this time. Don’t start grinding through. Instead, follow the rail and then turn to the left to the room with glass panes all around it. When in the middle of this room, turn to face the Molten Bucket. Jump through the glass, and you will land on a beam with the Secret Tape straight ahead.
As stated earlier, this is a great spot to jump and grind the Molten Bucket if players are struggling to grind it from the other methods.
How to Get Sick Score for Foundry in THPS 3+4
If tricks seem hard to pull off,try remapping them. Every level will give players a High Score, Pro Score, Sick Score, and High Combo to achieve. This is not something players will be able to simply get without practice. In fact, players can skip getting Sick Score and High Combo while still inexperienced.
Once players have some more time with the game, players can chain tricks together using manuals, short grinds, and doing tricks between ramps. With enough practice, players will find these scores in the hundreds of thousands, making their goal of only 7,500 trivial.
Build up special and then perform a special into a half pipe, then pull off another special after hitting the ramp. Never underestimate how valuable manuals and short grinds can be. Use one ofthe many skatersthat feels right for you.
How to Get the Stat Points for Foundry in THPS 3+4
Players can get the first Stat Point by turning around at the start of the level and grinding along the ramps at the back of the level. They will need to jump between these grind points. Players will see this Stat Point during the cutscene from un-jamming the 5 valves. The second Stat Point can be found on the right railing of the Molten Bucket.
How to Get All Money for Foundry in THPS 3+4
Players should have already seen all the floating money icons by this point. The first is opposite the S icon. Players can get this by using the ramp or by jumping from the starting location so they pass through it on their way down.
The second can be found in the gap where the foreman gets soaked. Head to this location while skating on the bottom floor to find a ramp to get to it.
The third can be obtained by heading to the Secret Tape location. Players will see the money icon to the right of this spot. Jump to the beam on the right, and then onto the platform with the money icon.
Playing out Foundry is just the start of THPS 3+4, andfans have expressed a lot of hope for more entriesafter it.
