After all,Kou Yamori, the main character of the story, is actually a half-vampire. So why does a halfling like him get to be on this list over the other vampires in the story? Well, the reason is simply because, despite being a half-vampire,he has actually beaten everybody on this list in a fight,including the vampire in the number 1 spot.
From hyper-regeneration to phasing through solid matter, Kou learns everything there is to know about vampire combat techniques at breakneck speed. Normally, a half-vampire shouldn’t appear in a list about vampires, but his strength is too great to ignore. That’s why he ends up seventh on this list.
6Nico Hirata
The Foxy Vampire Teacher
Nico Hiratais one of Nazuna’s close vampire friends.They usually meet at night on top of a skyscraper to talk about their days and any issues that may arise in the vampire world. Out of everybody in the group, Nico is the most feisty and passionate one. She is the type who won’t hesitate to stick her nose where it doesn’t belong and use her strength to get what she wants.
In fact, she once fought against Nazuna over a petty misunderstanding. Nazuna was still noticeably stronger than Nico, but she held her ground just fine in that fight. The one thing that prevents her from becoming a solid fighter is her lack of fighting experience.
5Kiku Hoshimi
The Eldest Vampire
Kiku Hoshimiis the oldest vampire inCall of the Night. She has been around for centuries and has experienced a wide range of lives.From the savagery of the Middle Agesto the sophistication of the modern world, she has lived through many different stages of human history. As such, she has accumulated tons of experience, both in life and in combat.
Kiku has been involved in a couple of fights throughout the story, but none of them have evolved beyond simple skirmishes. She never displays her full combat capability because, more often than not, her manipulation technique is more than enough to bring her enemies down. In fact, most of the people that she interacts with give up before they even get the chance to fight her. They fall victim to Kiku’s irresistible charms and poisonous words.
4Haruka Nanakusa
A Dashing Vampire
Harukais a dashing young vampire who is active mainly in Hokkaido. He is easily the most cunning vampire on this list. After all,he spent most of his days in Hokkaido as a con man.He will lure young, naive people with his good looks and natural ability to charm his target. Once he takes them into an empty place, he will suck their blood and leave the victim alone until they eventually regain consciousness.
Though he rarely engages in combat, Haruka is a capable fighter. He has a good understanding of how to utilize his absurd strength properly. Not only that, but he is also a master at taunting his opponent and using his sharp words to get into their heads. He may not be the strongest on this list, but he is definitely one of the trickiest opponents to fight.
3Nazuna Nanakusa
The Free-Spirited Vampire
Nazuna Nanakusais the first vampireto appear in the series. Compared to the other vampires on this list, Nazuna is by far the most free-spirited. She leads a carefree life, only doing things that are fun for her, which include taking a stroll in the middle of the night and drinking canned beer until she passes out.
Contrary to her happy-go-lucky nature, Nazuna is actually an incredibly gifted fighter. Though she hasn’t fully mastered the art of vampire combat just yet, she is more than capable of defeating her enemies by using her brute strength. Fighting her becomes even trickier whenever she is overcome with anger. A berserk Nazuna is not someone anyone wants to fight.
2Azami
The Yakuza Vampire
Apart from Nazuna, every vampire inCall of the Nighthas a day job. After all, they need money to survive in this modern world, just like regular human beings. Some of them work inhonest and respectable professions, such asteaching or nursing, while others work in questionable fields, like Haruka, who becomes a con artist, andAzami,a member of theYakuza.
As somebody who is no stranger to violence, Azami proves to be an excellent fighter. He already had a wealth of combat knowledge and experience when he was still a human. The addition of a vampire’s absurd strength and unique abilities makes him an even more lethal fighter.
1Susuki
The Martial Artist Vampire
Susukiis a self-proclaimed vigilante. She knows how troublesome vampires can be, so she dedicates her life to ensuring humans and vampires alike can live in peace, without the former ever knowing anything about the latter. She is even willing to kill anybody who might threaten her objective. Be it vampires or humans, once she sets her eyes on a target, she won’t stop until she eradicates them.
This violent way of life means Susuki has a ton of combat experience under her belt. Not only that, but she has also displayed an uncanny level ofmastery in utilizing vampires’ unique abilitiesin a fast-paced fight. From preparing a small batch of blood for a quick regeneration boost to phasing through the opponent’s body in order to destroy their limbs, Susuki has developed all sorts of tricks and techniques to take down vampires. It’s not an exaggeration to say that Susuki is the master of exterminating vampires, and that’s why she is the strongest vampire inCall of the Night.
