The Sandman Season 2 Clip Teases The Song of Orpheus Episode

Revealed on IGN’s YouTube channel, the exclusiveThe Sandmanseason 2 video shows off the marriage of Orpheus (Ruairi O’Connor) and Eurydice(Ella Rumpf) as The Endless offer their congratulations to the couple. However, not all of the family members are as excited about the happy occasion, as Despair, played by Donna Preston (naturally), states that “most marriages end in misery”, before Destiny (Mason Alexander Park) interjects to break the awkwardness up to say, “but isn’t love wonderful.” Delirium has her own strange way of saying her well wishes to Orpheus and Eurydice as she reveals that she “was almost married once, but that was a very long time ago and it was probably my fault.” Really, the clip proves that regardless of the realm, family interactions will never not be a tricky endeavor.

However, one character’s chilling debut that has fans talking is Destiny, played by Adrian Lester. After Orpheus asks Destiny if he wants to wish them well on their marriage, the first and eldest of the Endless states that heisDestiny, “I do not wish, I know.” In the comment section of the clip, fans of the show are loving Destiny’s cold and stoic presence, with one commenter saying, “That last line was just too cold. So hyped for this season actually”, while another states, “I Know” hits differently here." Others have been pointing out how amazing this season looks already and are pretty sad that this will be its final outing, since it looks like it’s getting even better than before.
