The Pokémon Center has been doing evolution plushes for years now. Just recently, they debuted thefinal life-sized Eeveelutionsof Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. However, what the company revealed todaytakesPokémonevolution plushes to an entirely new level.

The first, in what we can hope is a new line of products, is theGeodude, Graveler & Golem Home Sweet Cave Evolution Plush. You can ignore the Home Sweet Cave portion of the item for now. What the headliner here is thatthis one Pokémon plush contains, and can switch between, all three iterations of the rock/ground type Pokémon family.

Three Pokémon Forms - One Pokémon Plush

You have to give the minds at The Pokémon Center credit for this one. Using a unique design layout and zipper setup, you’re able to modify this evolutionary plush from one form to the next. You’ll start with the “Rock Pokémon” Geodude, of course. Unzip and unfold the little guy, and you soon find yourself greeted by the middle Pokémon in the family, Graveler.

As you might assume, once you’re in Graveler form, completing the same unfolding and zippering process leads you to finding the final form of the trio’s evolution: the “Megaton Pokemon”, Golem. Despite the seemingly obvious design challenges, each of the three rock/ground Pokémon looks great in plush form.

Pokémon Home Sweet Cave Plush Key Chains

The Geodude, Graveler & Golem Evolution Plush is just one in a line of new items in the Home Sweet Cave lineup. Though, to reiterate, it’s the only one with the power of zipper and fold evolution.

The other three items that rolled out today are Pokémon Plush Key Chains. As they’re part of the Home Sweet Cave line, they’re all the rough and tumble type. The trio consists of Tyranitar, Aggron, and Garchomp.

The threesome of accessories are all angrily adorable. Each features a soft design with embroidered details. They’re all constructed to be flat so that they aren’t clunky during travel. And all sport a fabric loop that allows you to connect them to your bag, backpack, or duffle. Though, make note that they don’t come with any clips, so you’ll need to figure that aspect out separately.

The Home Sweet Cave Plush Key Chains are pretty sizable, too. Aggron comes in at 8 inches high and 4.75 inches wide. Garchomp is listed at 7.75 inches high and 6 inches wide. While Tyranitar measures in at 6.75 inches high and 4.25 inches wide.

Will There Be More Evolution Plushes?

With theGeodude, Graveler & Golem Home Sweet Cave Evolution Plushbeing the first of its kind, you have to wonder if The Pokémon Center has other iterations of the unique design in the works. If you consider other ball-shaped evolutionary families, there are a bunch of otherfun evolutionary familiesthat could be created.

Voltorb and Electrode, while just a pair, seem obvious. The same goes for Koffing and Weezing. Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein would be a grouping that would probably work well. As well as Igglybuff, Jigglypuff, and Wigglytuff. We’ll have to wait and see whether we have more of these cool new styles of plushes to look forward to.
