The Bokka is a prepper inDeath Stranding 2that players can visit when they are in Mexico. While this prepper does not play a role in the game’s main orders, players can earn several rewards by increasing their connection level with him. This guide is here to provide details on those rewards, and it will help players decide if they should go for a 5-star rating with the Bokka inDeath Stranding 2.
Players will earn additional Bandwidth, allowing them to build more structures in Mexico, and more material allotment at the Bokka’s facility at two, three, four, and five stars. Furthermore, players who have unlockedAPAS Enhancement inDeath Stranding 2will earn APAS Memory as they improve their Connection Levels. While these rewards alone may not be enough to convince players to put much time towards increasing their star ratings, they are nice when coupled with the more exciting rewards that are detailed below.
Where to Find the Bokka in Death Stranding 2
The Bokka can be found near the base of the mountain justwest of Ciudad Nudo del Norte (C1), a facility that players will bring online as part of Main Order No. 002. The Bokka’s precise position has been marked on the preceding maps, and his facility will be revealed as players approach it.
The location of the Bokka should appear on the in-game map after a player has picked up a piece of his lost cargo.
All The Bokka Connection Rewards in Death Stranding 2
1 Star
Players who reachConnection Level 1with the Bokka will gain the ability to fabricateTrekking Boots. As per the in-game description, these boots have “excellent grip,” which makes it easier to move across steep terrain, and they also have much better impact absorption than the starter Transporter Boots.
2 Stars
Upon reaching Connection Level 2 with the Bokka, players will unlock theSticky Gun. Thisweapon inDeath Stranding 2can be used to grab cargo from a distance, and it can be very useful for collecting items that cannot be easily approached.
3 Stars
At Connection Level 3, the Bokka gives SamPatch 9: Porter, a cosmetic that players can attach to their backpacks.
4 Stars
Players who make it to four stars with the Bokka will earn thePorter backpack accessory, which causes other porters' locations to appear on the map.
5 Stars
If a player is able to hit the max Connection Level with this prepper, they will earn theBokka hologram, which can be used to customize theirstructures inDeath Stranding 2, andPatch 42: Porterfor their backpacks. It also becomes possible torest at the Bokka’s facilityonce five stars have been earned.
