5Inferno

A Delicate Hybrid Of Damage And Survivability

The Inferno is one of the Strikers that must be unlocked with currency; alternatively, players can take advantage of the seven-day free trial available for the unit. The inferno is considered a heavy-frame attacker with dense armor and equal firepower, capable of melting enemies in the blink of an eye and taking a reasonable amount of damage. While piloting the Inferno, players will immediately notice the added weight as the armor the unit is equipped with comes with a price. The Inferno utilizes energy-based weapons that draw from primary resources, making flight, DPS, and abilities all very costly.

However, when correctly managed, the Inferno can overperform against most other units in the game aside from flying types. As its primary damage option, Inferno wields an energy splitter in each hand, which is basically an energy shotgun that fires a widespread within a mid-range distance or that can be charged for an extremely powerful beam. Inferno’s first and second auxiliary weapons are powerful beam weaponry, with one being a multi-targeted laser that can shred armor and intercept missiles, while the other is a highly concentrated blast that takes down a single opponent.

Inferno is an incredibly powerful unit, but it can find itself in trouble against more nimble targets and quickly be overwhelmed due to a lack of shielding ability. Players should engage in team fights carefully and utilize the support ability, Booster Kit, to escape from tough situations.

4Tricera

The Heavy Artillery Option For Frontline Fighters

The Tricera is a beast of a unit with a lot of survivability and even more versatility, able to handle targets both on the ground and in the air. Tricera is a heavy unit considered a fortress type, excelling at both offense and defensive position holding. The Tricera is equipped with stronger, thicker armor, although it does not lag behind as much as one would think; but, due to its abilities, it is not made for mobile battles. For mecha fans, Tricera resembles the design of one of the Mobile Suits from one of themost successful Gundam anime series in the West, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, equipped with a total of four gatling guns on its arms and shoulders. The first set of Gatling guns fires a constant stream of bullets that overwhelms enemies and has an excellent range for trailing flying units and intercepting enemy missiles.

The second set of Gatling guns fires a higher caliber of rounds, dealing increased damage to enemy shields. All four weapons come together by utilizing the Tricera’s transformation into a mobile turret. By fixing its position and raising four reinforced shields, the Triceracan become the perfect sentry and fire endlessly and hold its own against multiple targets, while making itself the main threat and peeling for allies. Tricera even comes equipped with survivability options, as it features a reusable repair kit that can heal and repair armor over time, either during a dogfight or after the bullets have stopped. Tricera is the total package and embodies the term the best offense is a good defense.

3Welkin

A Beefy Physical Attacker That Can Block And Lock Down Targets

The Welkin striker is quickly becoming a fan favorite for pilots inMecha Break, whichcombines the powerful armor of an artillery unit and the melee prowess of a close-combat unit, making it a force of nature on the battlefield. The welkin is equipped with reinforced leg and arm armor, giving it a stocky build with increased damage absorption but maintaining some of its mobility. The Welkin can reasonably perform in mobile battles but loses out against more nimble and faster opponents, so players will have to engage cautiously. The Welkin’s only form of ranged offensive power is the howitzer cannon equipped to its right shoulder that fires explosive rounds at fair distances that can significantly affect hard or soft targets.

The primary form of combat for the Welkin is in its energy battle axe, where it slices enemies apart with extensive combos. The Welkin uses its melee options in tandem with its energy Force Field ability, which can trap targets within a box, making them sitting ducks against its onslaught while keeping Welkin safe from outside harm. The Welkin also comes equipped with two defensive capabilities, one being an energy shield, resembling GN particles fromMobile Suit Gundam 00. Its second defensive option is a jamming pulse, which is great for getting out of a problem before it starts by blinding, staggering nearby units, and destroying nearby drones.

2Stego

The Perfect Mobile Armor For Holding A Position

The Stego is one of the top-performing heavy Strikers and one of thebest starter units inMecha Breakthat brings the power of a warship onto the battlefield. Whether the focus of the conflict or an overlooked threat, the Stego makes a huge impact with the right team chemistry. The Stego is a heavy turret and suppressing-styled Striker that excels at ranged combat, able to combat both ground-based and air-based targets. The Stego is slower compared to most other units inMecha Break, but it has a slew of abilities that make idle positioning the best option. The bread and butter of the Stego unit is its Turret Form, which allows Stego to raise an energy shield and turn into amounted unit with long-range lock-on capabilities.

While in this mode, players can utilize the missile swarm system that becomes available that fires multiple volleys of long-ranged missiles at multiple targets, dealing high damage. It’s best for a Stego to set up on high ground with a good frontal view, as the Stego can not rotate 360 degrees. While not in Turret form, the Stego comes equipped with a missile pod launcher on each arm, which fires high-powered explosive rounds. Additionally, the Stego has a shoulder-mounted missile launcher that rapidly fires hard-hitting explosives that are great for aerial and far-distance targets.

1Hurricane

The Shield Of The Team With Offensive Options

The Hurricane is a Striker that is primarily focused on defense and support. While other heavy Strikers carry a fair amount of offense in their kit, the Hurricane lacks the damage output while retaining near-impregnable defenses. The addition of a Hurricane to a team adds enemy target suppression, damage shielding, and unmanned damage capabilities that can be invaluable depending on the game mode. The Hurricane can be an asset in a number of situations, varying from mid to close range. The primary weapon of the Hurricane is the energy blaster, which has two modes of fire that deal an AOE blast of energy damage that can be charged to increase the effect. While pelting enemies from a distance, the Hurricane can deploy decoy drones that pull the auto-target capabilities of enemies, creating a safety net for the pilot and their allies.

These drones have a fair amount of health, and the Hurricane can deploy up to two at a time, blocking all incoming damage in a certain proximity. Secondly, the Hurricane can also deploy a shield drone, which forms a large barrier around the Hurricanes' position that blocks all incoming damage outside the dome. While using the safety of the shield drone, the Hurricane can also deploy up to three turret drones that will hover away from the Hurricane and fire off multi-targeted lasers at targets. Finally, the Hurricane can fire a barrage of lasers using remote drones that can shred the armor of target(s) at mid to short range, making the Hurricane a great support to protect allies and hide enemies.
