Red Dead Redemptionis an amazing video gamethat needs no introduction. Given its Wild West setting, the brown filter was more than appropriate and leaned into the realism that Rockstar wanted to hammer in with their modern titles.

Players explore wastelands, villages, and cities in their quest to take out the former members of the gang that Marston was once a part of. This leads to some tense shootouts, where Marston must help out others to gain their favor and take another step to take out the Pinkertons' targets.

Given thatGrand Theft Auto 4was easily the most mature game made by Rockstarat the time, it’s easy to see why the dull colors did nothing to take away from the beauty of Liberty City. It helped that the brown filter is nowhere near as noticeable as other games around the time, yet still managed to hammer in the game’s dreary setting.

Niko Bellic is a desperate immigrant who resorts to a life of crime to make serious moolah. This leads to him making several friends and enemies in an emotional story with a ton of swerves that fans won’t expect.
