TBATE Season 2has been greenlit, but there is a catch. The series was already confirmed to have a total of 24 episodes, but the first season only ran for 12 episodes. This means that Season 2 is actually the second cour that had previously been confirmed for a future release. Typically, there’s little reason to believe that a second cour will be different from the first one in terms of animation quality.

While it would be better to keep realistic expectations, it is hard to imagine that the production team is not aware of the feedback.
