Fans are excited to see how Nightdive Studios has improved onSystem Shock 2, considering the team’s work onthe firstSystem Shockremake. Released in 2023, the remake of the first game in the series was generally well-received by old-school fans, as it kept most of the original’s design while making some graphical and quality-of-life improvements that kept the experience fresh.

Unfortunately, the eagerly awaitedSystem Shock 3still does not have a release date. Earlier this year,Nightdive Studios commented onSystem Shock 3, which was originally announced in 2015.
