Nintendo has released a new update forSuper Mario Party Jamboree, addressing various issues players have had with the game. While this update does not add new content, it should create a more stable gameplay experience ahead of the release of the Switch 2 Edition ofSuper Mario Party Jamboreeon July 24.
Released on July 19, 2025,Super Mario Party Jamboreeis the latest installment in the popular party series. While the original Switch is home to three newMario Partygames,Jamboreeprovides fans with the largest entry to date. The game has over 110 minigames and 22 characters to choose from. In addition,Super Mario Party Jamboreeincludes new and classic boards, along with fresh modes to keep the party exciting for players. Following its launch, several updates have already been released that address bugs and connection issues. However, with a Switch 2 Edition coming out soon, Nintendo has looked to address even more existing problems.
On June 17, Nintendo released a new update forSuper Mario Party Jamboree, moving the game to Version 2.0.0. While not massive in scope, it does address various problems some players have faced. Specifically, the patch fixed a bug that caused some players to not earn an achievement related to Boswer Kaboom Squad. In addition, the developer resolved an issue with Party-Planner Trek that had caused progression to be blocked in certain situations. Several other bugs related toSuper Mario Party Jamboree’s minigameswere squashed thanks to the update. In particular, a bizarre bug that let CPUs be controlled by unused controllers was fixed. Beyond the fixes listed in the patch notes, other non-specific improvements were made to improve gameplay.
It is nice to seeSuper Mario Party Jamboreeget more bug fixes ahead of the release of the Switch 2 Edition. Costing $79.99, this version of the game adds Jamboree TV, a game show-like mode that supports the Switch 2 Camera accessory. In addition, new minigames will be included, along with improvements to resolution and frame rate. It is worth noting that existingSuper Mario Party Jamboreeowners can upgradeto the Switch 2 Edition for $19.99.

Specifically,Mario Kart Worldreceived a new update, fixing various bugs. In addition, the Switch 2 Editions ofTears of the KingdomandBreath of the Wildwere updated to improve the gameplay experience.
