The publisher has found itself in the middle of some controversy lately, thanks to an ongoing legal battle withSubnautica 2’s former leadership team. It seems the media whirlwind has not slowed its growth, though, asKraftonhas a new studio under its corporate umbrella.
Eleventh Hour has enjoyed some considerable success after releasing its first title in 2024. Now, asLast Epochgears up for its third season in August 2025, it has some even bigger news to share. The game and the studio that made it have grown enough to attract the attention of the publisher of such successful games asPUBG: BattlegroundsandSubnautica.
Game Director and Eleventh Hour founder Judd Coblerposted on the officialLast Epochforumthat Krafton had acquired the studio and its flagship game. Cobler expressed excitement over howLast Epochhad evolved from a solo passion project to a team of over 100 people and would now enjoy more resources and opportunities under the umbrella of a larger publisher. The positivity stands in stark contrast to much of the news around Krafton’s other properties lately. Earlier in 2025,Subnautica 2’s studio founders opened a lawsuit against Kraftonfollowing their sudden firing and a release delay for the upcoming game.
