From the quirky characters to the electrifying action sequences, the fans love everything about theChainsaw Man.
And now,a sequel is upon us.This time around, it will be in the form of a featured film. After all, this sequel will adapt the Bomb Girl Arc (also known as the Reze Arc), one of the shortest arcs in the series. It began in chapter 39 and ended in chapter 52, with a total of 13 chapters. But don’t let the compact size fool you because the Bomb Girl Arc is one of the most thrilling arcs in the series, featuring quite a few zany devils and devil hybrids. So with that in mind, here are the strongest devils and devil hybrids that will appear inChainsaw Man: The Reze Arc.
5Violence Fiend
Embodying the Fear of Violent
Galgali is a hybrid between a human male and the Violence Devil, which makes him the Violence Fiend. Unlike other devil hybrids that have a clear devilish feature in their body, such as Denji’s chainsaw head or Beam’s shark head, Galgali doesn’t have any noticeable devil features. Then again, he always appears with a mask that covers his whole face and a hoodie that covers his head. So the transformation may be there, but we just haven’t gotten the chance to see it yet.
As the embodiment of violence, the Violence Devil doesn’t need any tools. He simply throws punches and kicks.When he uses his devil power,his muscles will swell up, which gives him tremendous destructive power. In the upcoming arc, Galgali will use his absurd muscle power to aid Denji in his fight against the deadly Bomber Girl.
4Shark Fiend
Embodying the Fear of Sharks
Beam is a hybrid between a human male and the Shark Devil, which makes him the Shark Fiend. As mentioned earlier, Beam has a shark head. To be more specific, the upper part of his head looks like a mini version of a shark’s head. He has the ability to turn part of his body into a shark, but he can alsotransform his whole body into a devilish shark.
Beam is a big fan of the infamous Chainsaw Man. That’s why Makima asks him to accompany Denji in his fight against Reze. Though things won’t go as smoothly as they expect, Beam certainly contributes a lot to that chaotic battle. He knows that he is no match against the Bomber Girl, so he decided to do his best as Chainsaw Man’s sidekick.
3Angel Devil
Embodying the Fear of Angels
Though he has the appearance of a normal human being, albeit having a pair of giant wings on his back,the Angel Devil is a pure devil.But unlike other devils, he doesn’t particularly harbor any ill will towards humans. This is one of the reasons why he agreed to help the Public Safety Devil Hunter and exterminate devils for the sake of humans.
But don’t let his frail figure fool you. The Angel Devil has one of the most dangerous powers among the other devils in this series. He can steal a living being’s lifespan just by touching them with his bare hands. Just a quick touch is all it takes to reduce your lifespan by a couple of months. The Angel Devil holds several different roles in the upcoming arc. From hunting devils as part of the Public Safety Devil Hunter to helping the Chainsaw Man in his big battle, to helping Makima with some deadly errands. He will be quite busy in the Bomb Girl arc.
2Typhoon Devil
Embodying the Fear of Typhoons
The Typhoon Devil is the personification of a typhoon. This means it can freely create a typhoon whenever and wherever it wants. Not only that, but it can also freely control the level of the typhoon itself. From a heavy rain followed by a slightly strong windto a full-blown tornado that will destroy everything on its path,this devil can do it all.
Along with Bomb Fiend, the Typhoon Devil is one of the two antagonists of the Bomb Girl arc. It will aid Reze in her fierce battle against the Chainsaw Man. To be perfectly honest, Reze doesn’t really need the help. She is more than capable of taking down the Chainsaw Man–or the entire Tokyo Public Safety Devil Hunter, for that matter–by herself. But she still appreciates the kind gesture. At the very least, the Typhoon Devil and its large-scale destruction can act as a decoy so that Reze can focus solely on her mission.
1Bomb Fiend
Embodying the Fear of Bombs
It is said that the Gun Devil is one of the most powerful Devils on Earth simply because everybody is afraid of guns. The same thing can be said of bombs as well. So, as you can imagine, the hybrid between a human female and the bomb devil is insanely strong as well. From pinpoint blasts to missiles that can destroy skyscrapers, there are so many deadly weapons within the Bomb Fiend’s arsenal.
In her human form,the bomb fiend goes by the name of Reze.She appears to be a sweet and free-spirited girl, which is one of the reasons why Denji quickly feels so attracted to her. Unbeknownst to him, Reze is actually a master manipulator. She has been trained since a young age to incapacitate her opponents, both physically and mentally. That’s why Reze the “Bomber Girl” is one of the most dangerous and powerful villains, not only in this arc, but in theChainsaw Manseries as a whole.
