The number “29” seems to have been distinctly shaped into the ground, as well as the letters “CU” in the background. The screenshot also shows a console message stating that the player has been teleported to the coordinates 29, 11, 63.54.
Though many fans have discussed quite a few different theories as to what this strange post might mean, one particular interpretation seems to be the most likely by far. Several fans from every corner of the internet quickly came to the same conclusion - that Mojang is teasing some kind of update focused around copper, a resource that manyMinecraftplayers have long thought is in need of more uses. The reason for this belief is that every little detail in the post seems to be directly related to the element - “Cu” is the atomic symbol for copper, 29 is its atomic number, 63.54 is its atomic mass, and it appears in group 11 on the periodic table.
