But things took an unexpected turn after that point. Jinwoo could see amagical program known as the Systemthat pushed him to evolve into a better hunter. With each mission and task that he was assigned, Sung evolved dramatically. However, the origins of the System remained a mystery. Jinwoo understood that something or someone was trying to use him, but with no reasonable explanation, he decided just to use the magical program for his benefit.

Over time, his skills would accumulate, and he would keep improving his hunter ranking. Although it’s unclear what the System gains by making him stronger, it is evident that the magical program ensures that he keeps chasing new abilities and skills.
Based on these factors, it’s fair to assume that the origins of Jinwoo’s powers have something to do with the System. It’s also interesting that the magical program only appeared after the tragedy in the Double Dungeon. As mentioned earlier, there Sung had offered to sacrifice himself for others, following which he was tortured on the altar. But when he woke up in the hospital, most of his serious wounds were healed.
Therefore, Jinwoo’s reawakening can be sourced back to the Double Dungeon disaster, and he will finally find answers to his questions when he returns therein the Double Dungeon arc.
