Thomas Andre Will Engage in a Clash of Egos
In the Jeju Island raid arc, Thomas Andre, who is widely recognized as the greatest hunter alive, made a brief appearance. While he offers to help free the forsaken island, he does not end up fighting at all. However, fans do get a glimpse of what a National Level Hunter is capable of when Liu Zhigang is shown defending his country and slaughtering any magic beasts that attempt to enter China from the Yellow Sea. His swordsmanship mastery and fluid moves are a sight to behold and leave one awe-struck.
However, these glimpses barely offer any quantifiable understanding of the destruction a National Level Hunter is capable of causing. All of this is set to change inthe International Guild Conference arc. Touted by many fans as the best arc in the series, it will focus on the annual prestigious conference for guild masters all over the world. Following his heroics in Japan, Jinwoo will be the talk of the town as top hunters line up to meet him or catch a glimpse of him. On the surface, everything will appear to be going perfectly until things take a dark turn.
Driven by jealousy and revenge,Hwang Dongsoo kidnaps Yoo Jinho, knowing that his actions will infuriate Sung. By the time Jinwoo finds his friend, Dongsoo would have injured him seriously for refusing to answer any questions. Shocked and infuriated by Dongsoo’s recklessness, Sung will unleash hell on him. But little does he know that this was all taken into consideration by Hwang, who knows that Thomas Andre will arrive at the scene sooner than later.
Unfortunately,Sung Jinwoo refuses to listen to any requestsfrom Andre to de-escalate the situation and even insults him. As expected by Dongsoo, the attempts to ensure common sense prevails soon will turn into a clash of egos as both top-rank hunters refuse to take a step back. This will set the stage for one of the most violent battles in the series so far.

Until now, only glimpses of a National Level Hunter’s abilities are shown in the anime, butin Solo Leveling Season 3, fans will finally get to experience the true extent of their powers. It is said that when two S-rankers fight, an entire city can potentially get destroyed. It remains to be seen what a National Level Hunter fighting for his ego could mean for the world. But it’s evident that such an intense fight involving two combatants who are arguably the strongest hunters in the world will do more harm than good.
Irrespective of who wins, if the battle is not brief, it could lead to serious damage to civilian infrastructure and put many lives at risk. It would also be interesting to see how Jinwoo handles this situation. For the fans, this battle will surely be one of the most memorable so far.
Solo Leveling Season 3is confirmed, but an official release date yet to be announced. If the rumors are to be believed then the show will return sometime between 2026 and 2028.
