Following the Double Dungeon disaster, Sung Jinwoo woke up in the hospital, mysteriously surviving the fatal injuries that he had incurred in the dungeon. Jinwoo, who has been left in the dark for so long, will be driven by his rage to do anything possible to finally uncover the secrets of his powers that have perplexed him for so long. Although Kandiaru will feel that he is powerful enough to handle Sung, things will take a dark turn for the magic beast as he figures out the frightening abilities Jinwoo now has access to. Once the dust settles following an intense battle, Sung will have figured out the terrifying origins of his powers.

Jinwoo’s battle with Kandiaru will be intense, but just before victory, he will undergo an experience that will change his perspective on the human world forever. Kandiaru will put Jinwoo in a trance-like state for the completion of a pact, hoping that he will be rewarded for his efforts so far.
In those brief moments, Jinwoo’s soul will traverse dimensions and different timelines to experience the origins of the conflict that eventually led tothe spawning of countless Gates in the human world.But the highlight of it all will be Sung’s brief interaction with the Monarch of Shadows, Ashborn.
Jinwoo will come to know how he has inherited the powers of the King of the Dead. Furthermore, he will also realizehow a war between Monarchs and Rulers has caused chaosin different worlds and timelines for eons. Now these conflicts and their effects are also seeping into the human world.
