These are a few hunters that have to be included at launch, not just because oftheir fighting styles and skills, but because they offer something extra that could elevate any given squad. From swordsmen capable of cutting giants in half to sharpshooters with deadly marksmen’s skills, these hunters are fan favorites. Although much about a lot of hunters is still ambiguous, these hunters are outstanding because of great achievements, unforgettable fights, and unique personalities.
Class
Fighter
Kanae Tawata commands attention with her blend of raw power and mysticism. Aside from her sword skills, not much is revealed about her powers in the series. But in the gacha version of the game, she arguably has one of the best skills and playstyles. If they continue to build upon that, it could be even better in the new version. Her fighting style is both graceful and formidable, making her one of the most exciting hunters to watch and control.
It would add a rich layer of diversity to have Kanae playable on the first day, combining offense and magic in a clean form. She is a fast-paced style hunter who can adjust to a variety of combat situations, and would be a fascinating and versatile character to play.
Cha Hae-In has acquired a reputation as the ‘dancer’ hunter due to her elegant fighting style. Her speed, accuracy, and style make fans love watching and playing her, and her fast reactions and fatal attacks are a skillful and pleasing experience.
Cha Hae-In inSolo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVEwould provide ahigh-mobility and high-skill-oriented style of play, which would be rewarded with skill and timing. Her flashy moveset would provide players with a high-speed, exciting combat option, an ideal choice for those who prefer to remain mobile and aggressive.
Mage
Yuri Orloff’s mastery over support skills is both amazing and deadly. His ability to manipulate barriers and create defensive strategies against enemies gives him a unique edge on the battlefield. A hunter with a defensive-only playstyle would work well if done right, as it can mix defense with crowd control, creating chilling moments of tactical dominance.
Yuri could allow the player to stall out the movement of the enemy and to slow down fights. His combination of magic and physical fighting allows a variety of playstyle choices, and players like to mix speed and power with precision.
Lennart Niermann treats fighting in a well-ordered, accurate, and anxious manner. His strategic play and planned attacks would attract players who like hitting huge numbers. As long as fans of the game learnedsomething about the sub-DPS being strongerthan the main DPS in his gameplay in the gacha version of the game, he would be capable of launching his AOE attacks and letting his teammates clean up the rest.
With his strategic gameplay, players would be motivated to think a few moves in advance. Having Lennart in the game might mean new mechanisms in terms of debuffs or strategic position, which will give a new perspective to hunter battle that is more rewarding to an extent.
Tank
Go Gun-Hee does not only have physical strength; he also has experience and leadership. He’s still stronger than the majority of the S-rankhunters despite his age. Go Gun-Hee combines strength with intelligence, acting as the best possible commander that is capable of both leading and fighting.
His addition to the game would provide the player with a multipurpose hunter that would be effective both in the front line and as a tank. His leadership may provide buffs or tactical advantages. Go Gun-Hee is an ideal candidate when one desires either brawn and brains in the same package.
Goto Ryuji brings out the inner samurai in every gamer. Known for his heavy sword slashes and explosive combat style, he thrives on causing massive area damage that can disrupt enemy formations. His style is chaotic, loud, and devastating, and fans love it. Goto play is all about risk-taking and exerting tremendous force to redefine the field of battle.
Having him in the new gamme would enhance the exciting and high-speed gameplay of all the destruction falling everywhere. Players would love to chain their combos and teammates' abilities together like a devastating combination, and that would make Goto the best crowd control machine. His explosive charisma makes his missions experimental and uncontrollable.
Sung Il Hwan was a vessel of the Rulers and the greatest hunter alive, second only to Jinwoo. Unfortunately, his body was not powerful enough to fully absorb the power of the Rulers, and he passed away after overstraining himself in the fight against the monarchs. The full extent of his strength has never been seen, and as such, an opportunity to play as him inSolo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVEwould be huge.
Il Hwan possessesdevastating physical strength, tremendous speed, stealth abilities, and telekinetic control granted by the Ruler’s Authority. He was so strong that he could bully Monarchs, and would have defeated them were his body able to withstand the ruler’s powers like his son. Putting players in control of him would then open him up to his full potential that he never got the chance to display during the series.
Being a National Level Hunter and the possessor of a Ruler, Christopher Reed was one of the strongest people inSolo Leveling. However, fans never learned the extent of his strength because he died offscreen. Nonetheless, we get the sketch ofhis powers through short glimpses, which depict a devastatingly powerful being. Even his death at the hands of three Monarchs was not depicted in detail, which increased the enigma around his strength.
Christopher’s known powers, Ruler Authority and Spiritual Body Manifestation, provide exciting game possibilities. His telekinetics could enable him to play on the battlefield on a large scale. His metamorphosis into a flaming one-eyed creature could be visually striking and mechanically rich. And his fierce flames make him perfect for risky, big pay-off DPS classes. Having Christopher be part of the game would not only pay homage to a favorite fan-mystery, but it would also bring an incredible fighter.
Thomas Andre is an embodiment of brute force and stubborn endurance. Being one of the S-rank hunters, he is a juggernaut on the battlefields according to his physical power and his invulnerability. Fans love his no-nonsense, tank-like presence of Thomas, as he crushes his way through enemies with brute force. Rather than a mere fighter, he is a dominator.
Adding Thomas at the start of the game would give players that unstoppable frontline bruiser feel.His damage-absorbing and abilityto shatter enemy lines could provide crucial breathing room for more tactical or ranged hunters. Thomas, as a team captain, would provide a stable base to break through even the most difficult exchanges.
Liu Zhigang is a force of nature on the battlefield. He can cut his enemies like paper even when he’s up against giants or hordes of enemies. Rather than any elemental magic, something people may expect, Zhigang is simply proficient with his sword, proving that theexpertise of the physical battlefieldcan be just as deadly. He is a favorite of fans because of the combination of elegance and brutality in his fighting techniques. Each cut is well-measured and each action smooth, making combat an art.
Having Zhigang inSolo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVEwould introduce the kind of gory, meaty sword combat that everyone wants, and a way to play that relies on timing, positioning, and true skill. The grace with which he would slice through hordes of huge enemies would bring a nice melee aspect to the game. His presence is chill and authoritative, making him an excellent balancing passive character in any group.
