Donkey Kong Bananzais the franchise’s firstopen-world game, providing players with plenty of freedom when it comes to the order in which they complete objectives and explore the game’s world. Upon reaching the planet’s fourth layer, The Great Divide, they’ll even have the option to explore the next two layers out of order if they really want to, although whether or not they really should is debatable.
On their first visit to The Divide,Donkey Kong Bananzaplayers will be prompted to take one of two branching paths, with one leading off to the left and the other veering to the right. They can speak with the NPCs in the area to get a better idea of what awaits them at the end of each path, but the game doesn’t really give them a clear indication as to which is the better choice. This guide will help to answer that question.
Should You Choose the Left Path or the Right Path in DK Bananza? (Freezer Layer or Forest Layer)
As with a lot of video game choices these days,it doesn’t matter whether players choose the left path or the right path at The Divide. This is because they’ll need to visit and complete both layers eventually, so they’re basically just deciding which one they want to visit first. In fact, almost immediately after making their choice, they’ll be able to return to The Divide and take the other path bymaking use ofDK Bananza’s fast travel system, so they really needn’t stress too much about the decision.
Which is the Best Branching Path to Take at The Divide? (Left Path or Right Path)
Choosing the left path will take players to the Freezer Layer (SL500), while choosing the right one will take them to the Forest Layer (SL600). Both have the same level of terrain strength (three stars), although the Forest Layer is deeper underground, soif players want to complete the two layers in order, they should choose to take the left path at The Divide. As mentioned above, though, it really doesn’t matter too much if they opt to complete the Forest Layer first, and they’ll be free to switch layers at any point if they later change their mind.
