The standout Gambit figure is inspired by his appearance in the first season ofX-Men ‘97, the recent revival ofX-Men: The Animated Series. The collectible sees the Cajun mutant styled with a plate of beignets—a type of square-shaped fried dough—in hand, lending a playful touch to its overall design. Meanwhile, Dazzler gets the fancy treatment with a Diamond Glitter finish, which not only adds to the figure’s head-turning potential but also serves as a direct callback to the character’s disco-infused comic origins. Rounding out the trio is Onslaught, one of themost iconicX-Menvillains, now immortalized in vinyl form with a detailed sculpt befitting his ominously imposing presence.
Funko’s SDCC 2025 Pops Come in New Authentication Packaging
Each figure will feature an SDCC 2025 sticker affixed to the box. Much like the recently revealedlimited-edition Funko Pop Spider-Gwen and Spider-Man, these collectibles will come with Funko’s new packaging with Octane5-powered authentication stickers incorporating micro-optic technology that’s impossible to be duplicated or replicated, ensuring their uniqueness. The authenticity of every Octane5 sticker can be verified via a unique product code, which is part of an initiative to combat counterfeiting in high-demand collectible niches.
Onslaught is the priciest of the newly revealed figures, being set to retail for $25. The Gambit and Dazzler vinyl Funko Pops will be priced at $15 a pop. While these are technically SDCC 2025 exclusives, Funko’s past releases suggest that all three may also be available outside the convention, which runs from July 24 to 27. However, any units sold by licensed online distributors in the coming months are likely to feature a different “Summer Convention” sticker rather than the official SDCC 2025 label found on SDCC-issued packaging.
