RuneScape: Dragonwildshas officially pushed out a brand-new update to close out July, making a plethora of fixes to the Jagex survival game. The RuneScape developer shocked the world earlier this year when it announcedRuneScape: Dragonwildsas a spinoff of the beloved MMORPG, giving the game a survival spin.Dragonwildsincorporates plenty of the classic staples of the more than 20-year-old RPG, including a robust magic system and several of the most iconic Skills from RuneScape. Now, a new update is bringing several fixes toDragonwildsfor July 2025.

Since the game debuted in mid-April, Jagex has pushed regular updates toRuneScape: Dragonwilds. Each month sinceDragonwilds' debut has welcomed a new update, pushing a variety of improvements and bug fixes for the game.June’s “It’s a Bit of Magic” updateofficially added the Magic skill to the game, alongside the introduction of a Hardcore game mode forDragonwilds. Jagex is now rolling out the newest update forRuneScape: Dragonwilds, changing everything from picking up items to multiple bug fixes.

Jagex officially released the 0.8.2 update forRuneScape: Dragonwildson Tuesday, including a laundry list of fixes. One of the biggest fixes comes when trying topick up items off the ground inDragonwilds, with clickboxes for dropped items said to be “taller and more generous.” The update’s other community-requested change affects the interiors for Velgar’s scorn, including Dragonbreath and Meteors, in particular, now properly being blocked by caverns. The update also pushes seven different bug fixes, addressing bugs with the game’s clock widget showing nighttime properly, adding some new cooking pairings, and some nondescript terrain fixes.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds Pushes July 2025 Update

RuneScape: Dragonwilds' newest update looks to be a smaller patch than some of the game’s previous updates, more focused on minor fixes.A previous survey from Jagexhinted at the potential addition of a new type of map in the future, able to support both PvP content and massive group PvE content. The same survey suggested that Jagex is also considering introducing community-led servers for RuneScape: Dragonwilds, with the server owners able to potentially customize different aspects of their server.
