A recently surfaced rumor suggests the announcement of Electronic Arts' next major title,Battlefield 6, is just around the corner. Leaks surrounding the next entry in theBattlefieldfranchise have been emerging with increasing frequency over the past few months, as developers struggle to stem the flow of information being revealed to the public ahead of the game’s official promotional cycle.
Most recently, a dataminer claimed to have found evidence of aBattle Royale mode inBattlefield 6,sharing a video clip that has since been removed via a copyright claim, a move that seemingly supports its authenticity. EA appears to be cracking down hard on any and all leakers as they are discovered by having their posts taken down as soon as they catch the public eye.
PerInsiderGaming, streamer and YouTuber DooM49 shared a screenshot of aBattlefield 6promotional package in a now-deleted Twitter post, reportedly delivered directly from EA. “Battlefield 6” was printed in large, bold letters on the silver suitcase’s front. Bright red straps were wrapped around the case, with familiar terms like “Breakthrough,” “Conquest,” and “Rush,” likely signaling the return of thesegame modes inBattlefield 6.

Speculation suggests that theBattlefield 6package arrived under embargo, and the leaker was not supposed to share any information about it until the official go-ahead. It’s likely they realized the mistake after the fact from community reaction or were ordered by EA to take it down to prevent the news from spreading further. Nonetheless, a screenshot of the leak is making the rounds on social media and has been picked up by media outlets. Doom49 has not made another post on his page since the leak.
Marketing for EA’s upcoming title has been ramping up recently, lending further credence to rumors of an impending announcement for the title.
