According to the latest leaked information, the upcomingXboxhandhelds, the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, will open pre-orders on Wednesday, August 20. Reports have been swirling for years thatXboxwas planning on getting into the handheld gaming market. At one point in time, it was expected that Xbox would produce its own handheld, but those plans have seemingly been scrapped in favor of a partnership with Asus that will see the release of Xbox-branded ROG Ally handhelds.

Xbox first announced the ROG Xbox Ally handheld consolesat the Xbox Games Showcase in June. The designs of the devices were shown off, but otherwise, specific details on them remain hard to come by. Xbox has already confirmed that the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X will be featured at Gamescom in August, and it seems some of the announcements planned for the devices have leaked ahead of time.

Dealabs has leakedthat the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X will go up for pre-order on August 20, coinciding with Xbox’s presence at Gamescom 2025. Additionally, the claim has been made that the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X will retail for €599 and €899, respectively. These prices translate to 690.64 USD and 980.91 USD. Exact USD pricing for the devices is unavailable at the time of this writing, but it could go a few different ways. The prices could round up to $700 and $1,000, or they could wind up being $600 and $900. Alternatively, they could be priced at a completely unexpected point in the US. Whatever the case may be, hopefully more information on that front comes at Gamescom, so Xbox fans know exactly how much they will have to set aside if they want to get the ROG Xbox Ally handhelds.

ROG Xbox Ally Handhelds Leaked Pre-Order Date and Price

Just as no official pricing information has been announced for the Xbox handhelds, fans also don’t know when exactly the new devices will launch.
