Does Ready or Not Support Crossplay?
The good news for console and PC players is that the developers atVoid Interactive have confirmedthatReady or Notwill feature crossplay for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S players. Thanks to this feature, you’ll be able to join other players from all over the world and on different platforms. New players should be aware that experienced PC players have an advantage due to their familiarity with the maps and gameplay speed. Therefore, inexperienced players who want to participate in missions with real-life players should consider following their lead.
Additionally, it’s important to note that there isno cross-progression between platforms. If you ownReady or Noton different platforms, you’ll need to start over from scratch.
Does Ready or Not Feature PVP?
In addition to being able to playReady or Notas asingle-player story game, you have the option of taking on the multiplayer modes too. Unfortunately, there areno player versus player modes yet. The game did feature a PvP mode during a closed Alpha on PC, but due to fan complaints, it was removed. This isn’t a bad thing for new console players, as they won’t feel outmatched going up against experienced PC users. As it was a featured in an early build of the game, it’s possible Void Interactivemay bring it back at a later date.Ready or Notdoes feature PvE, though. Players can host public games, join a random public session, or create a friends-only session.
Console Differences
Void Interactive have confirmed that the console version will feature the same experience and missions as PC players. However, theywon’t have access to mod support. As a result, PC players using mods won’t be able to join a crossplay with console players and vice versa.
