PS Plus July 2025 Wishlist: Resident Evil Village

One of thebiggest announcements from SGF wasResident Evil Requiem. Sony has a longstanding association with Capcom, and withResident Evil 7previously being on PS Plus, giving fans a chance to play its well-received sequel and latest series entry ahead ofRequiem(set to release July 18, 2025​​​​) would align well with it coming to the service.

In celebration of its Days of Play promotion, Sony announced at State of Play that thePS1 versions ofResident Evil 2andRE3will be hitting the service as part of the Premium classics catalog sometime later this summer.

PS Plus July 2025 Wishlist: Atomic Heart

Similar toRE Village,Atomic Hearthitting PS Plus would also be timely. Developer Mundfish Studios revealed at SGF both a forthcoming follow-up to the 2023 original alongside anambitious new game,The Cube, an MMO shooter spin-off based onAtomic Heart’s world. While it was thought to be a little under-baked,Atomic Heartreceived a couple of later DLCs that helped flesh out its experience, and it could use another look.

PS Plus July 2025 Wishlist: Pacific Drive

One of last year’s most interesting but often overlooked games,Pacific Drivesends players on a survival roguelike road trip through anExclusion Zone-like regionof the American Pacific Northwest. With a compelling story and world rounded out by quirky characters and enthralling gameplay loops,Pacific Driveis an enjoyable detour through a mix of genres. It’s also gotten a number of updates since its launch in February 2024, and features more robust options and modes.

Other PS Plus Extra and Premium Prospects Wish List for July 2025

While July may not hold the increased number of PS Plus additions that June did, any of the above games being picked for the next crop would make excellent fits for the onset of summer and ahead of some of the notable major upcoming releases set to drop shortly later.
