Ian Bell Announces Project Motor Racing Release Date
Unlike traditionalrealistic racing sims,Project Motor Racing’s aim is to simulate the life of a professional motorsports racer in its Career mode, and all the complications that come with it. The idea is to create an “authentic motorsports economy” by seeing the racing world through a real driver’s eyes. New cars aren’t unlocked automatically after winning races, but are bought using cash earned by completing races. The expenses aren’t limited to new purchases either; travel costs, repairs, and costs of entry also eat up a significant portion of the driver’s income.
While a large number of fans are certainly looking forward to the release ofPMRand how it differs from thestandard racing sim, some may choose to hold off on pre-ordering. Given Ian Bell’s varied track record, especially the mixed reception ofProject CARS 3, potential buyers may opt to wait for reviews before committing.
