On July 21,Twitchcontent creator and Vtuber Ironmouse announced she had left Vshojo, a group she co-founded in 2020, effective immediately. In a YouTube video, the popularTwitchpersonality alleged that Vshojo owes her a “significant amount of money,” along with over $500,000 in charitable donations to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

Ironmouse started streaming in 2017, as her common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) diagnosis has kept her largely isolated and prevented her from pursuing a career as an opera singer. While her real name and face remain unknown to the public, she was inspired by Kizuna AI, the first Virtual YouTuber, to adopt an avatar and persona of her own while keeping her identity safe. Since then, Ironmouse has amassed an audience of over 2.3 million Twitch followers, and has collaborated with other streamers like Connor “CDawg” Colquhoun toraise money for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

ThoughIronmouse remains one of the most popular content creators on Twitch, the Puerto Rican Vtuber is once again independent. In an 11-minute YouTube video, Ironmouse stated she left Vshojo after allegations surfaced that the organization she co-founded had mismanaged funds owed to her and the Immune Deficiency Foundation. Ironmouse stated that she is owed a “significant amount of money” for her work, and that Vshojo had not paid over $500,000 in donations to the IDF.

Ironmouse Has Left Vshojo Effective Immediately

Ironmouse stated that, while she wanted to say more on the matter, her attorneys advised her to wait and let the legal process play out. Unlike other Vtuber organizations like Hololive, Vshojo continues to allow departing talents to keep their name, IP, and avatars as independent acts. Ergo, Ironmouse retains her current persona as an independent Vtuber. Ironmouse encouraged her fans todonate to the IDF via Tiltify, and said that all her ad revenue from her announcement would go to charity.

When Vshojo was formed in November 2020, Ironmouse was among its first Vtuber talents to join the group alongside creators like Zentreya and Projekt Melody. Since its foundation, Vshojo has seen members both join and leave the organization. In 2023,co-founding member Nyanners left the groupdue to a contract dispute and has since signed with Mythic Talent. Ironmouse is the fourth former member of Vshojo to leave the group in 2025, with Matara Kan, Geega, and co-founder Zentreya departing throughout June and July 2025. On social media, other Vtubers and content creators expressed their support for Ironmouse.

As of this writing,Vshojo’s current talent pool consists of Vtubers like Kson, Henya the Genius, and co-founder Projekt Melody. While Vshojo has not responded to Ironmouse’s departure and accusations, only time will tell what the fallout will be.
