This allows players interested in playing competitively to find tournaments and events that are being held in their area. This includes events for the video games, thePokemon Trading Card Game, andPokemon GO. This means that, for example, fans can use the new app to keep track of where to go forthe newPokemon GOevent that was recently announced.
Play Pokemon Access Helps Players Learn How to Play Competitively
The Play Pokemon Access app can be great with players familiar with playing competitivePokemon, as well as new fans who want to get into the scene. For newer competitors, they will be able to read about all the rules, all the banned Pokemon, and a full database of thePokemon Trading Card Game, allowing them to start as prepared as possible. Veterans will appreciate being able to view their championship points and look at team sheets, as well as all of the other features, if they need a refresher. Additionally, players will be able to collect badges within the app by taking part in sanctioned events. This is coming out at a perfect time, as thePokemon Trading Card Gameis preparing for its new set.
Pokemonfans have a lot to look forward to. Between the new card set coming soon and changing the game, and thePokemon Presents earlier in July giving many new reveals, fans will have many new and updated ways to enjoy the franchise. However, they will still need to register for these events either in person or through a third-party app. Hopefully, these features will be integrated into the app in the future, making it even more convenient for competitors.
