Walmart and Best Buy’s exclusive pre-order bonuses forPokemon Legends: Z-Ahave been revealed. As per usual, these early-purchase incentives may run out of stock even before the end of thePokemon Legends: Z-Apre-order period.

The digital version ofPokemon Legends: Z-Ahas been available for pre-order since June 5. However, physical pre-orders only went live following thelatest Pokemon Presents event on July 22.

As is tradition, major stateside retailers are offering some exclusive pre-order incentives for the upcomingPokemongame. Walmart’s freebie arrives in the form of a so-called mystery pin; each customer gets a single badge featuring one of thePokemon Legends: Z-Astarters: Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile. The pins are distributed at random, hence the “mystery” designation.

Pokemon Z–A Exclusive U.S. Retailer Pre-Order Bonuses

Best Buy’s pre-order bonus is more straightforward, arriving in the form of a gamer mat. Its most prominent feature is amap ofPokemon Legends: Z-A’s Lumiose City. The game’s starter Pokemon adorn the left side of the mat, while the 10% Forme Zygarde and Eternal Flower Floette sit on the opposite side. Both Zygarde and Floette play a prominent role in the upcoming title.

As is typically the case, neither Walmart nor Best Buy have provided any assurances that these early-bird bonuses will be available for the entirety of thePokemon Legends: Z-Apre-order period. Instead, both are officially offered “while supplies last.” In recent history, scenarios in which any major U.S. retailer runs out of pre-order bonus stock—at least as far asPokemongames are concerned—have been exceedingly rare. If the opposite happens and there is still some leftover merch after the game hits the store shelves, there’s always a chance those items will keep being given out to customers post-release until the stock is fully depleted.

In addition to retailer-specific pre-order bonuses, anyone who pre-purchases a physical version of the upcoming title will also qualify for thePokemon Legends: Z-Aearly adopter bonusin the form of Ralts holding a Gardevoirite Stone. Meanwhile, digital pre-orders come with an added incentive of 100 Poke Balls. Based on recent entries in the series, the complimentary item batch is expected to be distributed via the in-game gift system.Pokemon Legends: Z-Ais scheduled for release on October 16. The Switch version of the game retails for $59.99, while its Switch 2 counterpart costs an extra $10. ThePokemon Legends Z-ASwitch 2 bundle comes with a code for a digital version of the Switch 1 gameandthe current-gen console upgrade, so it can be played on either of Nintendo’s hybrid devices.
