They were introduced during thePokémon GOTour: Sinnoh(back in February 2024), and they have been part of the game’s event mechanics ever since.
During Space-Time Anomalies, the sky turns purple, and Pokémon from different time periods, in particularHisuian Variants(like Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Sneasel, and Hisuian Qwilfish) will appear in the wild and around Gyms, andPoke Stops buffed with Lure Modules.
In past events, these Space-Time Anomalies also came accompanied with Raids featuring Palkia andDialga in their Origin Formes. Currently, there’s no confirmed information on when these featured Raids will come back toPokémon GO,so players need to regularly check the Pokémon GO section, as the information will be updated as soon as official information is released.
