When exploring the Metaverse inPersona 5 The Phantom X, cognitive versions of Wonder’s friends and allies in the real world can manifest as Phantom Idols, thanks to the aid of Merope in the Velvet Room. In Tomoko’s case, she can join your party as the Phantom Idol “Moko”, armed with a bow, twin knives, and her Persona Duo: Prosymna. She’s a Psy Element Strategist who specialises in buffing allies attack while increasing the damage enemies take, sometimes putting enemies to sleep in the process.

What Skills Should Moko Level Up First in Persona 5 The Phantom X?
Moko’s most important skills are Cheering You On! and Spirit’s Lullaby, so when resources are scarce, you should prioritize these two. Cheering You On! synergises with her hidden ability Esprit de Corps, making it the most important of the two early on.
Best Weapons for Moko in Persona 5 The Phantom X
Luckily, one of Moko’s best weapons is readily available as a reward for clearing some of theTechnician challenges in the Velvet Trials. The Shadow Crowns offer increased Attack, which is boosted further for 2 turns after Moko spends Greenleaf Stacks. Since Moko’s Cheer Song scales off her attack, this allows her to provide an even more potent attack buff if she’s spent Greenleaf Stacks within the last few turns. When using these weapons, it’s worth using Spirit’s Lullaby on turn 1 and then Cheering you On! on the next turn, to take full advantage of the attack buff.
When facing large groups of foes, Moko can also perform well wielding the Sharp Twinblades, which offer a stacking attack buff based on the number of enemies on the field.
Best Revelation Cards for Moko in Persona 5 The Phantom X
When selecting Revelation Cards for Moko, it’s crucial to remember that her Cheer Song buff scales off her Attack. This makes the Power set bonus especially useful here, with two Power cards increasing her Attack by 12% and a set of four granting a stacking attack buff that gains stacks every 6 turns in combat. While the four-piece set effect is unlikely to trigger in normal fights, it can be amazing against bosses and other foes that take many turns to defeat. Add a Trust Space Card to get the Trust & Power bonus too, providing a 10% bonus to all allies attack at the start of battle.
The Abundance Set also performs well, reducing her damage taken and helping to charge her Highlight, which can be used to quickly put an enemy to sleep and amplify the next damage they take. Paired with a Trust Card, the Trust & Abundance bonus will increase party damage by 8% for 2 turns whenever Moko uses a skill on an ally, something she’ll be doing constantly throughout any battle.
In terms of stats, Moko should prioritize Attack and Speed, amplifying the power of her Cheer Song and ensuring she goes early in the turn order so she can set up her buffs on your damage dealers.
Best Team Compositions for Moko in Persona 5 The Phantom X
Moko performs well in a lot of teams, due to her support-focused skill set and universally helpful buffs and debuffs. One easy setup is putting Moko on a team with Closer and Cattle.Closer’s multi-hit attacks benefit tremendously from any attack buffs she recieves, and Cattle’s solid healing will keep them healthy. Set up Wonder to act as a secondary damage dealer, a buffer, and/or a guardian, and this team can take you pretty far.
Moko also, naturally, performs well with the other high-damage sweepers and assassins, like Panther, Joker, and Fleuret. Her ability to apply the Sleep status to enemies pairs particularly well with Joker’s skill: Arsene’s Chains, which deals hugely increased damage against foes with status effects. Fleuret’s multi-hit strikes also benefit a lot from the added damage from Cheer Song.
