A new concert is coming later in 2025 forPersona 5, with a unique big band twist. The upcoming event will open for ticket sales in mid-July, with some specialPersona 5bonus goods for the higher tiers of seats.
WhilePersonadidn’t become a sales phenomenon in the west until the fifth game,Personahas been a powerhouse franchise in Japan for quite a long time now. Part of the popularity of the long-running series is the music soundtrack of each title. As a result, regularPersonaconcerts have been held in Japan, including aPersonaSuper Live 2022 concert, aPersona 5 Tacticaconcert, and even aShin Megamiconcert in the US.
Persona 5will be wrapping up 2025 with a new concert calledPersona 5Special Big Band Concert. Rather than simply being a live performance of music from the game, this one will feature a “New York big band sound,” performed by 30 orchestra members from both Japan and the United States. The concert will see the return of game vocalist Lyn Inaizumi, and will also featureGrammy award-winner Charlie Rosen. Rosen previously released a big band-style arrangement of Last Surprise, so fans may want to check that out to get an idea of what to expect from the concert.
Persona 5 Big Band Concert Details
The upcomingPersona 5Big Band concert will be held across multiple days in Japan, so fans located there or who can travel will have multiple opportunities to attend. From December 2-4, 2025, the concert will be held inShinjukuat the Shinjuku Bunka Center, while a December 5 performance will be held at the Kobe International House. Ticket sales will begin on July 16 and run through August 3, with prices for tickets ranging from 11,000 yen ($76 USD) to 16,500 yen ($114 USD), with the higher tier coming with extraPersona 5goods. The nature of these goodies have yet to be announced.
At this time, there are no announced plans to hold the concert at a venue outside of Japan. While this is likely a disappointment for some fans ofPersona 5, thankfully, areas outside of Japan have gotten a recentPersona 5treat in the form ofPersona 5: The Phantom X. The game recently launched on Steam for PC and on mobile devices, bringing players back to the world ofPersona 5with a new cast and story to explore. However, some series fans are ready to move on from the nearly decade-oldPersona 5, and are eager for Atlus torevealPersona 6.
