There are currently two ways to get your hands on an Anti-Rope Cannon (seen above), and you’re able to make use of both methods in the same run.
If you’re determined to add an Anti-Rope Cannon to your backpack, remember that once you find an Ancient Chest on the current map, that chest will continuously respawn in the same exact spot until the map undergoes its daily server reset. Once the map updates, that chest location will change. However, Ancient Statues are always found at the summit at the end of each level, so you still have that guarantee.
How to Use Anti-Rope Cannon in PEAK
The Anti-Rope Cannon functions similarly to the regular Rope Cannon, but in the opposite fashion. Equip it and aim it at a cliff face that you find yourself unable to climb manually. Shoot to anchor it, and the rope will insteadlevitate upwardrather than hang down. Use your interact button to ‘grab’ the rope and climb the levitating rope up to your destination.

This is especially vital when you get to the more difficultlevels in the gameand have to deal with nearly impossible climbs.
