Climbing the big mountain is just half the fun inPEAK. The real challenge is unlocking all the badges and doing it in style. There are lots of badges you may earn as you play. Some you can complete on your own, but for others, you will need toteam up with friends.
Leave No Trace is one of the32 achievementsinPEAK, and it’s definitely one of the toughest ones to get. But if you complete it, you will earn a cool cosmetic. Here’s a quick guide on how you can earn the Leave No Trace badge inPEAK.
How to Get the Leave No Trace Badge in PEAK
Climbing the mountain inPEAKis already tough, and you usually need to use a lot of items to make it to the top. But for the Leave No Trace badge, things are a bit different. To get Leave No Trace, players need to literally leave no trace behind. InPEAK, some items like Coconuts and Medkits are one-time use and disappear after you use them. But there are other items that stay on the mountain after being used.
To get the Leave No Trace badge, players have to avoid using items that stay behind on the island.This means you’re able to’t placethings likeRope Spools, Rope Launchers, Chain Launchers, Pitons, or Portable Stoves. These items are pretty useful, which is what makes this badge really hard to get. One important thing to point out here is that you can still use Magic Beans and Shelf Shrooms to get through tricky spots. These items create climbing structures, but don’t count against the badge, so they are safe to use.
Ifyou are new toPEAK, or you’ve been struggling to get the Leave No Trace badge, it would be a good idea to choose an easier difficulty. Tenderfoot is the easiest mode in the game, and it makes things way less stressful. In this mode, your character uses less stamina while climbing, and you won’t get hungry as quickly. This makes the climb way more manageable.
Once players complete the Leave No Trace achievement, they will unlock theIncognito Maskas a reward.
