Pac-Man World 2is getting the remake treatment 23 years after its initial release in 2002, with the updated version titledPAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC. The announcement of a newPac-Mangame was included as part of the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, which featured a variety of exciting announcements about upcoming releases for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
Pac-Man World 2is a sequel to 1999’sPac-Man World,which was similarly given the remake treatment back in 2022. The game will also see the inclusion of a two-player couch co-op mode for the first time in the history of thePac-Man Worldseries.
What to Expect From PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC
PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAChas been given a release date of July 09, 2025, for platforms including Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Digital pre-orders are currently live, with two options to choose from: Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe, which includes the Collaboration DLC Set.
