Overwatch 2first released the Stadium game mode in Season 16, with this quickly becoming one of the most popular aspects of theOW2game. Stadium gives players a fast-paced combat style where they lock in one hero of their choice for the entirety of the game and then create a progressing hero build over a series of mini-rounds by playing to earn Stadium Cash. This Stadium Cash is then used to purchase Items to pair with the unlockable Powers to further develop your build.
In Season 17,Overwatch Stadiumentered its second season, with a number of new additions and changes being implemented. The most significant of these changes are the three new hero additions of Sigma on Tank,Junkrat on DPS, and Zenyatta on Support, as well as a variety of new and edited hero Powers and Items for players to use in their builds.
